I’m guessing this got bleached during my Tumblr hiatus and I apologize if it seems redundant, but I still feel very strongly about this song. You tell me the last song that was allowed in clubs that DIDN’T have a hook. Not since Wu-Tang….(and I’m not saying this is Wu-Tang, but just admire the balls of it.) I currently live in Asia right now and for as long as I’ve been touring here, you almost never go to a mainstream club and are able to hear anything that doesn’t have an extremely prominent hook. People who don’t speak English are trying to learn this song because they have to. Because there’s no hook for them to learn so they might as well just learn the lyrics. To me….that’s extremely heavy.
